5.40 and AudioVision

Hello,

I have the following setup:
Loewe 5.40
Audiovision
Loewe Subwoofer 525
2x stand Speakers
2x satellite speakers

The Subwoofer is connected with the Audiovision using the Audiolink cable.

I'm trying to get the audio from the TV onto the Audiovision+speakers but so far this does not seem to work fine.
(see my previous post viewtopic.php?f=74&t=6862).

So I have disabled the Digital Link on the TV.
Now I have tried to use the audio-out from the TV into the TV-IN on the AudioVision.
But what I've noticed:
- I've got to set the volume really high on the Audiovision to get a normal volume
- I am missing a center speaker (music seems to work fine but during a movie, the voices seem muted). If I put the volume higher on the TV, I notice a 'delay' in sound between the TV and the speakers. This causes some kind of echo, so I have to mute the TV.

I have some questions:
- Is there a way to get the TV working as a center speaker?
- Is there a way to get the output volume higher from the TV?
- I have read about a Digital Audio Link adapter, would this improve the situation? And if yes, will it work without a center speaker?
- If I have the DAL adapter, how can I play radio/CD from the Audiovision? Since the Audiolink is connected to the TV and not the subwoofer anymore?

I hope you might have some more information about this.

So sollte alles funktionieren:

bild 5.40 -> DAL Schnittestelle -> Digital AudioLink Converter -> AudioLink Kabel vom Converter zum Subwoofer.

Audiovision ganz normal per HDMI an den TV.

So war es bei mir auch angeschlossen
Der Wandler war aber direkt an den Sub angeschlossen und per LAN-Kabel mit dem TV verbunden
Im Lautsprecher-Setup werden dann die Lautsprecher eingemessen. Dort wird auch den TV-Lautsprecher als Center aktiviert
Audiovision wurde nur noch als Audio und DVD-Player benutzt. Allerdings muß dazu der TV laufen

Can you explain the part "AudioLink Kabel vom Converter zum Subwoofer"?
Because the Converter has only 1 output possibility: the LAN RJ45 cable, correct? Or is there also an analog Audio Link connector, so I can still connect with my AudioVision (to use it for radio for example)?

When you say "Im Lautsprecher-Setup", where do you mean? On the TV or the AudioVision?

Genau. Der TV ist der Audio Master
AudioVision ist nur noch ein Zuspieler. DVD, Audio-CD, IPod, FM-Radio
