Setup Assist-2 for Viewvision

I have bought an (old) Viewvision and I would like to link this to my Assist2 remote control with the 'DVD' button. Does anyone know which button-combination I need to use for this?

Are those instructions also applicable to the Assist-2?

Because the Assist-2 does not have a STB button, that's the Assist-1.

I think I somehow need to reset or program the DVD button on the Assist-2 remote control.

Good Question, that i can not answer.

Just try it.

Hold DVD and Stop Button, until the DVD LED blinked 2 times.
Than enter 10 (or12, or13), if the LED blinked another 2 times than had it worked.

Yes, but on my assist-2 there is no STB button. Only TV, REC, DVD and RADIO...
I have tried several things but I cannot seem to get the remote control working on the Viewvision.

You have just one Assist? No one from the ViewVision?
