Today my TV advised of a software update 4.2.15 from 4.2.15*

I have now done this ota. Does this mean the old version didn't download fully??

Also the new Loewe web site no longer seems to offer the option of downloading software to a USB.

Previously you use to register your product but I cant see where you now do this

If there's an asterisk shown at the version number, you've got some kind of firmware mixup or an incomplete firmware update. The solution is giving the firmware update process another try (i.e. a kick in the butt).

The Star means, Software is not correct installed. This can be the reason for all your Issues.

I was impressed that the TV noted the error somewhere and prompted a further update which I have now done apparently successfully OTA

My only concern re downloading a software to a USB is that in the UK we had a specific software download 4.2.10 and I am concerned that the 4.2.15 download on this site wont have that included??

I also thought this could be the reason for the glitches; testing over next couple of weeks to confirm, time will tell; if it is I will be so embarrassed!! Still I have just persuaded someone new to Loewe to buy one so could be forgiven

Loewe has confirmed, 4.2.10 is UK only
