Bei einem einmaligen Vorfall, der sich durch Netzaus beheben ließ, würde ich nicht gleich in Panik verfallen. Jeder Rechner hängt sich mal auf.

Du, wir können die Technik nicht mit Logs zu einmaligen Vorfällen zuschmeißen. Das macht nur bei echten, wiederholt auftretenden Bugs Sinn. Sonst kommen die zu garnichts mehr.

Der Crash kann auch vom Sony X800 UHD Player ausgelöst werden wenn in den Einstellungen vom Sony die 4k Upgrade Einstellungen auf Auto 1 stehen . Diese Einstellung ist speziell für Sony TV gedacht und ab Werk leider so eingestellt. Die Erfahrung habe ich selber gemacht

Thanks ; I have had a few issues with the Sony playback via the Loewe and I now have the TV doing the upscaling which seems to have helped. However last crash occurred when Auto1 had already been disabled.

TV crashed again as I attempted to connect to Sony Blu ray on HDMI 4

I am going to download earlier software to see if fault replicated

Quick update

1. Not linked to new software
2. Auto 1 disabled on Sony
3. If the Blu ray player is the switched on whilst the TV is operational and you subsequently change source to the HDMI input the crash occurs
4. Workaround is to switch the Blu ray player on before the TV.
5. Leads checked, HDMI inputs switched

I reckon it could well be a fault with the Sony tbh but any thoughts appreciated

Yes , Performing normally with Loewe 4.6.7 and last Update from Sony at X800. I have 4k Upgrade Setting on Auto2

I am letting the TV do the upscaling
I have got around the crashing issue by enabling the HDMI digital link HD function
For some reason if this is not enabled it causes the problem

Could you kindly try disabling the Digital Link HD function on the Loewe and then connect to Sony via Source a number of times to see if you experience a similar crash; I would really appreciate it

With deactivated Digital Link works perfectly without crash

I tried connecting an old Philips Blu Ray player and that worked fine (after I remembered to turn on compatibility!) so it really looks like the Sony has a glitch
Just to confirm your Sony is running the latest firmware?

UPDATE

SOLVED: Like Auto 1 it is recommended to disable HDMI functionality in the Sony setting menu.

This, like the AUTO 1 upscaling setting, is specifically designed for Sony Bravia sync devices and can when enabled cause the Loewe to crash

Once these two settings are disabled used everything should function normally

Pretch: Can you change title to reference the Sony UBP X 800 so that it may help others in the future

Ja, die Firmware Version mit 238, die aktuell angeboten wird von Sony

FINAL UPDATE

After further testing:
1. TV and the Sony work fine if Digital Link and the equivalent CEC HDMI function is activated on the Sony.
2. Issues occur when you disable this function regardless of how you do it, so you must keep the auto-switching functionality activated to avoid a crash
3. Never select AUTO1 upscaling

These problems could be unique to me in that I have a faulty unit but info hopefully of use to someone out there
