Die Oberklasse

Hi Loewe fans,

Harddisk is making strange ticking noises and I am thinking to replace the disk with a SSD version.
Is this easy to do by yourself or recommended to let it be replaced by a dealer? TV is now out of guarantee (3 years in use)

Do you have experience with this and please give me advise.

if you can change a harddisk on a PC/Laptop you should be able to do so on the Loewe as well. I replaced the hdd with a Samsung 850pro 1tb and it works perfectly well - no issues at all (just be aware that you will loose the logos on the home screen if not online, but this will happen anyway when you change the disk)

Is it worth so use an SSD?
Maybe due to the noise, but not for the speed.

ich sehe nur die Ruhe vor dem Festplattengeräusch als Vorteil; und das auch nur für die, die sich an Festplattengeräuschen stören/was ja auch nicht bei allen hier der Fall ist. Ansonsten bemerke ich keinen Performanceunterschied - vermutlich gibt es einen messbaren, aber ich hab ihn im Handling nicht erlebt
