New Airspeaker - first setup

Erstens, mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut ... dafuer ich schreibe auf Englisch und hoffe es gibt ein Antwort!
I have a new Airspeaker. I want to set it up to use the LAN connection, If I connect it to the router, can I then access the Setup page using the recommended http:// MAC address? Once I have the setup page, can I then carry out the firmware upgrade?
Most tutorials suggest that the upgrade should be done using the direct lan cable link to a PC (via http address 169.254.111.222 ).
Any recommendations or tips >
