Loewe Updates - Aufwand, Betatest, warum ist mein Problem noch nicht gefixt

Wenn nicht noch ein grober Fehler auftaucht, wird wahrscheinlich am Mittwoch, 21.12. die 4.1.17 für SL4xx freigegeben.
Das möchte ich gern zum Anlass nehmen mal was zu der Software und dem damit verbundenen Aufwand zu schreiben.
Immer wieder liest man ja davon, daß der eine Fehler den man hat, ja leicht zu beheben sei. Für einen Aussenstehenden klingt das logisch und ich versteh den Wunsch durchaus. Dieses eine persönliche Anliegen ist aber nur eins unter vielen und jede Änderung an der Software ziehst einen Rattenschwanz von Folgen nach sich.
Zwischen der letzten offiziellen Version 4.0.48 und der nun kommenden 4.1.17 liegen 9 Betaversionen von der jede einzelne ausgiebig durchgeprüft werden muss. Zur Erinnerung, die 4.0.48 ist am 14.11. veröffentlicht worden, dazwischen liegen also gerade mal 5 Wochen!
Es muss geprüft werden ob alte Bugs behoben sind und sich dadurch nicht neue eingeschlichen haben. Dazu kommen mit fast jeder Beta neue Features oder GUI Änderungen.
Zur Verdeutlichung wie das aussieht, hier mal ein Auszug der Changelogs der Betas. Das sind größtenteils Fehler die nie in der offiziellen Version auftraten, da sie in den Tests bereits ausgemerzt werden.
Ich hab mehr oder weniger blind einiges kopiert, das ist etwa ein Viertel der Punkte die in den Logs stehen. (einiges darf ich hier nicht reinstellen weil es geplante Funktionen betrifft, anderes sind Systemsachen, die ich nicht verstehe und von denen ich nicht weiß ob die erwähnt werden dürfen)
Das mag für manchen schon wieder nach Lobhudelei klingen, aber zumindest ich bin jedes mal beeindruckt, wie die es schaffen diese hochkomplexe Software laufend auf dem Stand zu halten und sogar noch neue Funktionen einzubauen. Das ganze für 2 Chassis in 3 Ausstattungsvarianten ... und nebenbei hauen die noch Bugfixes für Uralte Geräte raus.
