Sky Q and Sound Projector SL Can anyone one help?

I’m having issues with my set up and wondered if anyone could offer some advice.

I have a Connect 48 with Sound Projector SL and Individual Sub. I was running my Sky Q box into the Sound Projector and from there to the TV - this worked OK but would not get UHD to HDMI 4. So I’m now going from Sky Q to HDMI 4 - I’ve got the optical connection from the TV to the Sound Projector and the Loewe cable. This worked OK until I pause or fast forward - I get a loud buzzing sound and when I press play it’s all out of sync.

If I get a an HDMI splitter to run one cable from Sky Q to the HDMI 4 (UHD) in TV and one from the SKy Q to the Sound Projector. Would this solve my problem?

Also I’m unable to get the RJ12/RS-232C interface to display - can only get a menu display on the Sound Projector.
