Hi, my Connect 26SL died too (no red led, no power) and was the same problem: a diode on the power supply. One of the five on the photo was open (broken), D318 too. Very easy to fix and a very cheap component. You can buy them on your local electronics shop, not difficult to find. Hope it helps.
